Behavioral Alcohol Responses (BAR) Study

The purpose of this study is to gain a better understanding of alcohol’s effects on emotions and social behaviors. We implemented an experimental social drinking paradigm in which three strangers drank vodka cranberries together in a room.

We are currently following participants over time to determine if their responses to alcohol in this laboratory social setting predict heavier alcohol consumption and the development of alcohol problems.
